PRODUCT WARRANTY

MET-A-LUM FAB. INC. (Metalum) extends to the ORIGINAL CONSUMER PURCHASER a limited warranty on its aluminum roofs manufactured at Metalum ("aluminum roofs") that said products will not blister, peel, flake, or crack under conditions of normal wear for a period of Ten (10) years from date of invoice. This warranty shall be effective as to Building Products as originally installed and is not transferable.

REPLACEMENTS UNDER THIS WARRANTY ARE THE EXCLUSIVE REMEDY OF PURCHASER, METALUM SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL  DAMAGES RESULTING FROM ANY DEFECT IN THE ALUMINUM ROOFS. METALUM EXPRESSLY LIMITS ALL IMPLIED WARRANTIES TO THE WARRANTY PERIOD OF TEN (10) YEARS FROM THE DATE OF INVOICE. METALUM EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMS WITH RESPECT TO THE ALUMINUM ROOFS ALL IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND ALL IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AFTER WARRANTY OF THE EXPIRATION PERIOD. THERE IS NO WARRANTY OF ANY NATURE MADE BY US BEYOND THAT CONTAINED IN THIS WARRANTY.  NO PERSON HAS AUTHORITY TO ENLARGE, AMEND OR MODIFY THIS WARRANTY.

This warranty does not included damages resulting from improper installation, willful abuse, misuse, or negligence, or failure to provide normal maintenance and cleaning, or damages resulting from fire, lightning, windstorms, earthquakes, wind-borne objects, salt spray, (directly applied or in the atmosphere) or other acts of God. Effects of air pollution, corrosive chemicals, fumes, vapors, or other substances, mildew, dirt, vandalism, riot, insurrection, or normal settling of structure, distortions, warping, chalking, lap abrasion, fading or other causes beyond the control of Metalum.

Metalum reserves the right to inspect the aluminum roofs on purchaser's premises, and if Metalum determines that the aluminum roofs have failed under the terms of this warranty, Metalum will replace any aluminum roofs that blister, peel, flake, or crack under conditions of normal wear during the term of this warranty. The cost of labor and installation, as well as any shipping charges incurred in obtaining replacement aluminum roofs shall be the responsibility of the purchaser. Warranty performance will commence within a reasonable time after Metalum 's receipt of written notice of the defect, and will be completed within a reasonable time subject to the availability of aluminum roofing products.

If Metalum is unable to replace the aluminum roofs with products of similar quality and value, Metalum may provide, at it's option, a full refund of the purchase price of any defective aluminum roofing products, excluding labor and installation costs. These remedies are the purchaser's exclusive remedies for breach of warranty. Any claims for blistering, peeling, flaking, or cracking must promptly be presented in writing and with photographs to Metalum Fabricators, 7710 Alondra Boulevard, Paramount, CA 90723, Attention: Warranty Services Department.
